A Guide Tour to Peach tree - I am using here Peach tree 2009 , But As peach tree is following same environment since 2003 till 2015 it is the same software with same operating environment. Only new Editions are equipped with more functions and capabilities.
When we are schedule to launch an Electronic Software and start making our business accounts in a Software Peach tree, We need the following Info In order to provide fundamental info to the system.
Required Documents before Peachtree company Sitting
- To design the Chart of Account according to our business needs We have to feed the balance of Asset and Proprietorship Ledgers with ending balances of a particular period in chart of accounts -
- To enter all the Customer name and info to the System with Ledger balance of every Customer (the total of all Customer Ledger balance should be equal to the total Account receivable).
- To enter all the Vendors Name and info to the System with Ledger balance of every Vendor (the total of all Vendor Ledger balance should be equal to the total Accounts Payable)
- Bank Ledger Opening Balances and also a particular way is available in Peachtree by entering the outstanding Cheques and deposit in transit.
We shall collect the above info all in hand then we can start a new setup of a company in order to get all the balance of a running business correct and successfully start New Electronic transactions .
Note: Further if the business is Fresh new - we do not need any of the above and can start a peach tree company.
Further the above info is needed for any Electronic accounting software i.e. Quick Book, MYOB or Telly Etc Etc in order to convert a manual Accounting to an Electronic Complete Double Entry Accounting.
